There is only one thing of concern in pop music: Does the music have soul? Is it authentic? Or is it only an empty promise, that it doesn't keep? Eckhard Naujoks' CD "Dance With The Masters" has plenty of soul, without being soul music. His music is an electrifying mixture of rock, pop and gospel, vast and free but grounded at the same time.

He discovered his talent as a songwriter on a journey through Asia, Australia and North America, where he gave life to something, which wasn't concipated for outside purposes and which was therefore totally beautiful in itsself and free of manipulative tendencies. Music for music's sake! Soon the power of the songs inspired his surrounding and several professional CDs and concerts followed.

Eckhard Naujoks tells his own story about pain, loss, desire and hope. It is a great pleasure listening to him.
